PROJECT 1 Objects that in different contexts obtain different meaning

My first object is a human body in a sleeping position. I think that if the same position is shown on a different environment, a whole different meaning is implied. In this case I think it gives the sense of a homeless person. If the same position was portrayed on a bedroom, no other context would be found other than a person just taking a nap.
This picture is a thumb tack on a chair. I think the meaning of this picture is very clear. What I like about this picture is that by changing the location of the the actual object (the thumb tack) it acquires a different purpose. Instead of being a office supply object, it becomes a sort of small weapon. The whole picture is that this is probably pulling a prank on someone.
I found this tree near the student apartments of George Mason. I think this is a strange combination of objects I have seen. Shoes and trees. It seems like it could have some profound meaning, but I doubt it, I think that it is just a student trend, instead of throwing the old shoes to the trash, they tie the laces and hope that they stay on the branches of the tree.

These objects are cigarettes and a plastic bottle of Powerade. I'm aiming to achieve a comment on the contradictory behaviors of people who try to have a healthier life but somehow seem to neglect another aspect of their health. Maybe the want to lose weight but drink excessively. Maybe it's people who quit smoking but keep on eating fast food. I know it's impossible to have perfect balance in our lives, but I think it's a cool idea.

The object in this last picture are dead flowers. I was inspired by the 1989 Batman movie when Bruce Wayne goes to the place where is parents were killed and tosses a flower on that spot. Although I had both the red rose and this dead flowers, I decided to go with these, because I think we always put nice flowers to remember those who are gone, but in this case, the older flowers are a comment about how time passes and nothing truly remains, even the things we use to remember will be forgotten at some point.
